Franz Josef
Well we've arrived in Franz Josef..
We were going to put something nice about Westport, where we stayed last night, but well ummm at least it's got a better name than Cape Foulwind which is just around the corner!!!
Another day's travelling in the tour bus has brought us to Franz Josef which is beautiful - a big improvement on the last stop...
This is Dad in the main (only) street but you can't see the Glacier on this pic, we should have some great pictures tomorrow as we are booked on a helicopter flight to see both the Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers!!!!!!! We will have about a half an hour trip and get to land on a glacier, unless it's raining.
Everyone keep your fingers crossed for good weather!!!

Got an Easter card from you yesterday posted in Lancashire, are you really away or just posing in front of a blue screen and adding the backgorunds from the comfort of the morning room?!

Well, wherever you are it looks like you are having a lovely time.
I am at work waiting for 5.30 to roll on (got another 7 hours yet :C) so we can get away for Easter.
Do they sell creme eggs and mini eggs out there? If not I will save some for when you get back (might take the egde off having to come home)!

Organised Mum left all her cards with post it notes on with her good friend Auntie Peggy so sorry but blown that illusion!
They do have creme eggs out here but.... the shop has run out!!!!!! How terrible is that!?! Haven't seen any mini eggs but they have these funny mallow eggs - like tea cakes but without the cake bit! Everyone is addicted to Pineapple Lumps - chocolate coated pineapple chews. I haven't tried any yet tho..
